I may not eat dairy but I sure have been 'wearing' it alot this month!
Ya see, I was scouring the internet for help regarding this red spot or rash or acne on my face that seems to want to stay FOREVA and is becoming quite a nuisance!
It's been a year or so that I have been dealing with this patch, so I think at this point I would try almost a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g!
I've been to a dermatologist and she called it adult acne, my gyno called it rosacea, the books call it candida overgrowth, a wellness doctor is still trying to treat it, I've changed my diet, I've tried creams, I've eliminated creams, said chants (ok maybe that's not true) but darn near and I've upped my vitamin d intake! :)
Yet no real improvements...Until NOW!
Thank the heavens that one night I was forced to jump out of bed for yet another trip to the bathroom! (I finished my gallon of water too late in the day yet again)! But this time it was worth it! Due to the fact that I couldn't fall back asleep I began scrolling the internet...doesn't everyody? lol
And THAT'S when I came across this guys' page, and his generous information about this thing he calls Seth's Yogurt Mask.
I admit at first I thought "I've tried these natural remedies before to no avail", but there was something about this guy that told me, he's been as frustrated as I have and somethings telling me to listen! So in the middle of the night, squinting and all, I go scratch this on a notepad:
Get one 7 ounce container of Fage Total Yogurt (full fat Greek yogurt is best)
Throw some probiotics in it, stir, refrigerate. Lasts 2 weeks.
You can bet as soon as the sun rose I was up and made a B-line for the store!
One hour later I had my first pro-biotic yogurt mask chilling on my face. Ahhhh, it felt so good, so refreshing and I felt sooooo hopeful!
It's been about 5 days and 8 masks later (as sometimes I am doing a mask morning, noon and night) and by golly I think I am FINALLY noticing an improvement. The red patch is less red. The bumps are almost completely smooth and I have yet to experience any new breakouts.
This patch has always been on the left cheek and it has only disappeared once for one day in the entire year+ that I have been dealing with this!
As for now I am a complete believer.
But you have to check it our yourself if you want to get the full story!
For Seth's Yogurt Mask story, the one which caught my attention, and that has brought me hope, check out his page here: http://www.thenewsavagery.com/2010/06/seths-beauty-secrets-revealed.html
And for sure try a yogurt mask if what YOU have sounds like what Seth & I have!
